A Gardening Community Story was commissioned by Glen Dake, a long-time community garden advocate and Principal at Dake Landscape. This project tells the stories of how shared gardens benefit the lives of gardeners and their neighborhoods. The relationships formed through gardening are vibrant and unique. They foster collective identity, support health and wellness, nurture family life, steward the land, and inspire local partnership networks. All project images and stories were created to raise awareness and resources to help cultivate, sustain, and grow community gardens.
